Teaching

Teaching is at the heart of Yarit's practice. She creates playful, exploratory, dynamic and inclusive spaces where performers can engage with movement, stage combat, intimacy, and physical storytelling. Leading with with curiosity, joy, and precision, she works with students, emerging artists, and established professionals, to empower each individual to discover new ways of creating, collaborating, and bringing stories to life.

Devising & Collaborative Theatre

Yarit has led devised projects for BA Acting International, East 15 and ran workshops in devising movement & intimacy work for MA Collaborative Theatre at Rose Bruford College.

Intimacy for Screen & Stage

Yarit has taught workshops for actors, directors, producers, educators and stage managers in higher education, unions/associations and performance venues.

Working in Higher Education

Currently Yarit is an Intimacy Tutor at Guildhall School of Music & Drama.

She is a Shakespeare's Globe Education Practitioner and teaches movement, and stage combat regularly on their Higher Education courses.

She is also an Associate Teacher at RADA teaching movement and stage combat on their short courses.

In the film sector she is a recurring guest Intimacy Coordination Tutor at London Film School, The National Film & Television School and on the BA Film at the University of Arts London.
